Eleanor Edna Eppard

Eppard, Eleanor E. Wolf (Behrle), age 92, of Dayton, passed away from this life on Sunday, December 3, 2017. She was born in Dayton on October 16, 1925 to John and Gertrude (Behrens) Behrle. She was a 1943 graduate of Fairview High School. Eleanor enjoyed baking, golfing, playing cards and spending time with family and friends. She was an avid UD basketball and Cincinnati Reds fan. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church where she volunteered at the Food Pantry, and the Milton Athletic Club Ladies Auxiliary. Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Jack Berhle, first husband Wallace E. (Red) Wolf in 1998 and second husband G. Donald Eppard in 2005, and numerous sisters and brothers-in-law. She is survived by her children Darlene (Tim) Kinney and Wallace (Susan) Wolf, grandchildren Angela (David) White, Tom (Vicki) Kinney, Rusty (Ann) Kinney, Jonathan (Stephanie) Wolf, step-grandchildren Bryan Routson (Andrea Martin), Erin Routson (Jason Tipton), 13 great-grandchildren along with sisters Phyllis Smith and Betty (Howard) Shaneyfelt, sisters-in-law Priscilla Wolf and Kaaren Berhle and many nieces and nephews. The family will greet friends for a visitation from 9:00-11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 12, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 310 Allen Street, Dayton, OH, with Mass following at 11:00 AM. Inurnment will be at Calvary Cemetery at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Mary Food Pantry, 310 Allen Street, Dayton, OH. 45410, Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave, Dayton, OH 45420, or a charity of your choice.
