Eugene "Gene" L. Ross

ROSS, Eugene Lee “Gene”, age 91 passed away peacefully at Bethany Village Tuesday, April 19, 2016. Born and raised in Dayton, Ohio. Gene was a United States Army veteran of WWII. He retired from NCR and Auerhammer Industrial Tool Sales after 45 years of service. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who always put his family first. Gene is preceded in death by his parents Clifford and Florence(Riley)Ross; brother Warren Ross and his first wife Wilma(Burch)Ross. He is survived by his wife Fran Ross of Centerville, daughters; Diana(Darrell)Hill of Kettering, and Linda Ross of Walnut Creek, CA., step-children; Glenn(Karol)Roberts, Gregory(Cindy)Roberts, and Debra(CQ)Morrison, grandchildren; Tracey Metzger, Kelly Hill, Zack (Lea)Odom, and Caitlin Odom, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter, also six step-grandchildren, two step-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be held 10:30 AM Saturday, May 7, 2016 at the David’s Cemetery Community Mausoleum Chapel. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Gene’s memory to Hospice of Dayton and Bethany Village Benevolent Care fund. Arrangements completed by TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-Far Hills Chapel.
