When Richie first brought Bernice to meet our family, Pa said, "She's so beautiful!  She looks just like Linda Darnell!"  How right he was!  Visiting Bernice and Richie was always special, whether it was a cookout, a birthday, or a dip in the pool.  We recall those times fondly and will always remember how gracious and kind Bernice was.

Bernice was the best mother in law. She taught me many things and we grew into a wonderful, sharing relationship over the years. It was my privilege to call her Mom. I'll miss her always.

I have many fond memories of Aunt Bernice.  When I was a little girl, I used to look forward to Christmas parties and pool parties, at her and Uncle Richie's house. Aunt Bernice was always so welcoming and kind.  Thank you for the memories.  Gail, Ricky and April, I am thinking of you and your families, at this time of sorrow.

God could not have given me a better Mother!!

My favorite memory of both your parents was as I was entering the house from the lanai.  She was using her left hand on the computer mouse, and he rolled over to her and used his right hand to help guide her hand on the mouse.   It was so simple, but just a great testament of their love, companionship and togetherness.   It was lovely to witness.   They were always wonderful to me, and I will always be so grateful for their immediate acceptance.  Together again, and always.

Mom will surely be missed by many.  Luckily, I have a lifetime of fond memories.  Love always, Gail
