Frances “Fran/Frannie” Tittle of Dayton, Ohio, entered her eternal rest with the Lord on September 11, 2025, after courageously facing a long health journey. She was welcomed into heaven by her loving parents, Homer and Annabelle Tittle, and reunited with her beloved dog, Beau.
She earned her Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education from Sinclair Community College and went on to work for many years as a devoted Daycare Director. Through her career and her community, Fran was lovingly known as “Auntie” to countless children and a true friend to all who met her.
Fran’s life was marked by a deep love for the Lord and faithful service to Him. Gifted with musical talent, she played the organ and piano and sang as a member of a gospel group that ministered in churches throughout several states. She is remembered for her joyful exclamation of “Weellll!” during worship services and for her thoughtful kindness, always ready with a mint or tissue for anyone in need.
Much like her Savior, Fran embodied the ability to make “beauty from ashes.” She could see beauty in all things, often turning unusual items into art, and she delighted in adding sparkle to life by bedazzling anything she could get her hands on.
Fran was loved by many and leaves behind family and countless friends. Her absence leaves a deeply felt void within her faith-filled community, yet her joy, creativity, and steadfast faith will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
A Celebration of Life service will be held in the near future, with details forthcoming.
