I knew Fred Gluck when i was assigned to Wright-Patterson AFB, 1977-81. Later, when i was in the AF Reserve, I took the Air War College correspondence course. There were a couple papers Fred had written included in the reading material in the curriculum.

I am really happy that I met Fred, as he was such a sweet, kind person with a great sense of humor! I learned a lot about him by reading your  family's framed poster; 93 reasons why we love you, that you all gave him on his 93rd birthday. I will miss the walks that we used to take up the street and back, and sitting outside either in the garage,  or out back on his patio. He loved his Hallmark movies, The Andy Griffith show, and all the old westerns. I know it's very hard for all of you to lose him, but I prefer to look at it as he walked off into the sunset with Irene, whom I know he dearly loved. My deepest sympathies to all of you.
