Hassan "San" Ali Zubaidi

Hassan "San" Ali Zubaidi, age 34, of Vandalia, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2022. San was born May 16, 1987 in Dayton, Ohio. San leaves behind his daughter, Adriana Aurora Zubaidi; girlfriend, Erica Cartwright; mom, Roxie Lee Higgins; dad, Ali Zubaidi; siblings, Ameena Zubaidi of Dayton, Ohio; Ridge Higgins of Las Vegas, Nevada; Dakota Higgins of Dayton, Ohio; Nour, Malak, Ahmad-Hassan Zubaidi all of Oklahoma. He also leaves behind countless friends, including Dustin Denlinger, Jacob Yantis, Mitch Rumph and Phil Ryan whom San considered his brothers; as well as his bonus nephews and niece, Austin, Harley and Cheyenne Geisel. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Roscoe "Rocky" & Dixie Lee (Walls) Fisher.

San was a loving and devoted father who loved spending time with his daughter and teaching her things. He was a 2005 graduate of Northridge High School. San loved the outdoors, where he enjoyed camping, fishing, hiking, kayaking and having cookouts with family and friends. San loved spending time with each of his siblings but he shared a special bond with his sister, "Mena." He was extremely intelligent, he loved learning and was always looking to expand his knowledge. His interests include history, politics, Star Trek and space exploration. He also enjoyed reading and playing video games with friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

A gathering of family and friends for San will be held Friday, March 25, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Tobias Funeral Home, Belmont Chapel, 648 Watervliet Ave, Dayton, Ohio 45420.
