Jacob Thomas Tobias

He was a graduate of Xenia High School in 2000, and of Wright State University in 2005 with a Bio-Medical Engineering Degree. With this degree, his desire was to help people with Type 1 diabetes.

He worked at the Greene County Highway Department for five summers while going to college. After college, he worked at Mount Carmel Hospital in Columbus, Ohio for three years. His other employers were Walmart and Rite Aid of Xenia and was currently employed at Dollar General in Cedarville, Ohio.

Jacob very much enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and it wasn't often that he missed a special occasion. He especially enjoyed being an Uncle to his niece and nephew.

Jacob loved God and was an active member of Xenia Christ Temple Church. He loved spending time with his church family. He had a host of many family, friends and work associates

Jacob is survived by his parents: Gary and (Cynthia) Tobias / Sister: Jessica (Matthew) Thomes / Uncle: Elwood" Butch" Tobias / Aunts: Mary Kay (Bob) Burgess), Tary (Victor) Tobias / Niece: Isabella Thomes and Nephew: James Thomes / Cousins: Hilary (Akash) Glass, Greg (Jenny) Tobias, Pete Tobias, Jon (Patti) Burgess and Shelley Burgess.

A Memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. with dinner to follow, on April 13, 2024 at: Xenia Christ Temple Church, located at 1000 Jasper Rd. Xenia, Ohio 45385.
