Roten, Jim, 76, of Beavercreek, passed away Saturday, August 31, 2019. He is preceded in death by his brothers Carl and Larry Roten. Survived by his wife Carolyn; sons Thomas (Teresa Mae) Roten, James (Rikki) Roten, Joseph Roten; step-son John (Sandra) Racine; daughters Terrie Harris, Deanna Lyn Monbeck; step-daughter Catherine (Michael) Singleton; brothers Howard and Edward (Anita) Roten: numerous grandchildren. He retired from being a truck driver with over 45 years’ experience, is a member of the Hillside Chapel in Beavercreek and a founder of the Americas People Hall of Fame. Family will receive friends for the viewing from 11 am-12 noon Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at the Hillside Chapel (church), 3515 Shakertown Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45430. A funeral service will follow at 12 noon Wednesday. Rev. Art Beasley officiating. Interment Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
