Jane Lambert Hagerman passed away on Easter Sunday at her home in Murfreesboro, TN, with family at her side. Jane was born to her mother Muriel and her coal miner daddy, Paul Lambert in the hollers of Eastern Kentucky in 1934. She was 19 when she married Sam Hagerman, who would become the love of her life for the next 67 years. Jane had 1 sibling; brother James Lambert whom she adored.
Jane is survived by Sam, their two daughters Linda and Lauri and son Chris. She also has four grandchildren; Lizzy, Lisa, Ryan, and Paul in addition to four great grandchildren; Cash, Elsie Jane, Tallullah, and Wyatt.
Some of her favorite things in life were spending time with her family, her dog Bogie (a beautiful standard poodle), crisp white sweaters (and black ones too), a little Honey Jack Daniels, Dorothy Lane Market, The Hickory and Dayton Ohio in general.
All of her homes were beautiful cozy places that you would never want to leave. She was stubborn in the best of ways and one of the classiest people you would ever meet.
Her family is forever grateful to have had her lovely presence for all of these years. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you please donate to the foundation below or your favorite charity:
