LEONARD, Janet L., age 91, of Edgewater, FL passed away, Saturday, May 7, 2011 at her home in Edgewater, FL surrounded by family. She was born December 6, 1919 in Xenia, OH to the late Noah and Grace Dever. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 40 years, Coy E. Leonard. She is also preceded in death by her siblings, Marguerite, Edward, Mildred and Louise. Janet is survived by her loving and caring children, Judith A Savage and husband, Richard D. Savage, James E. Leonard and wife, Janet L. Leonard, all of Edgewater, FL.; 9 adoring grandchildren, Gary LeRoy of Austin, TX, Lynn LeRoy Turgeon of Norton, MA, Greg LeRoy of Austin, TX, Jeffrey Leonard of Columbus, OH, Kimberly Gibbs of Huber Heights, OH, Louann Cox of Supply, NC, Tommy White of Edgewater, FL, Brandon Tarr of TN, and Heidi Tarr of Edgewater, FL. Janet is also survived by 11 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. Janet was a devoted member of South Haven Christian Church in Port Orange FL. She had been an employee at Tait Manufacturing in Dayton, OH for 20 years. Funeral service will be 11AM, Saturday, May 14, 2011, at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, OH. Pastor Donald Payne will officiate. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery in Xenia, OH. Friends may call to the funeral home from 10-11AM prior to services on Saturday.
