Laufersweiler, John D., of Dayton, Ohio, born March 11, 1928 passed away on Good Friday, April 14, 2017. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Barbara, the love of his life, his 5 devoted children and spouses, Ann Beecroft (Charlie), Chris Schwerdtmann ( Dave) Steve Laufersweiler, Mark Laufersweiler (Annie), Amy Bruns ( Jeff), 16 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, brother Tom, preceded in death by his parents, Maurice and Sybella, and sister Sybil. He graduated from Chaminade High School in 1946, and Ohio State University in 1950, and served in the US Army. He spent 15 years of his career at Laufersweiler's Catering, and 40+ years in the brokerage business. He was a member of the Centerville Rotary, and has been a member of Incarnation Parish since 1960. Lover of God, Barbara, his family, many good friends, sports, music and collector of "good stuff".
