Joyce Louise Head, age 86, passed into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June 7, 2022. Joyce was born to Otis and Elizabeth (Moors) Hayden in Louisville, KY. Preceded in death by her husband Herbert, and her son, Randy. Most recently a member of Five Rivers Church in Kettering, Joyce served as secretary of Beavercreek Christian Church before retiring in 2001. Joyce enjoyed quilting, crocheting and loved the many vacations that she experienced with her daughter, eldest son and their families; including trips to Arizona, Maine, the Carolinas, Lake Erie, Michigan and Tennessee. Plus several trips to Disney World. Survived by her sons Bob (Beth), Frank, Don (Roxana), David (Ladauna), her daughter Diana Powers, son-in-law James Powers, her sister-in-law Hazel Hayden, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several nieces nephews along with their families. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 25 at Five Rivers Church, 1450 E. Dorothy Lane, Kettering, Ohio 45429.
