Madelyn J. Kelley

Kelley, Madelyn Jeanette, age 88 of the Trinity Community of Beavercreek, passed away Monday, August 25, 2014. She was born June 3, 1926 in Dayton, OH to Robert and Cora (Sparks) Whisler, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Robert F. Kelley Sr., in 2010. Two sons survive her: Robert F. Kelley Jr. and wife Nancy and Mark S. Kelley and wife Linda, all of Guam. Three grandchildren also survive her: Monika R. Kelley-Williams and husband Gareth of Tacoma, WA, Christopher M. Kelley of Guam and Colleen M. Kelley-Rosario and husband John of Lafayette, IN, as do three great grandchildren: Axel, Cai and Lena of Tacoma, and numerous nieces and nephews. Madelyn was a member of the Stivers High School class of 1944. The family will receive friends at The Tobias Funeral Home – Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. on Monday evening, September 1, from 6-9 PM. A memorial service will be held at Trinity Community, 3218 Indian Ripple Rd. at 10 AM on Tuesday, September 2, 2014. Interment will be in Dayton National Cemetery at 2 PM Tuesday; a procession will leave from the funeral home at 1:15 PM.
