Monnin, Marie, age 82, died Monday April 8, 2013. Marie was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, confidant and cook. She was an active volunteer giving of her time at the Kettering Government Center, art gallery and many other locations. She and her husband were avid travelers. She loved University of Dayton Basketball, the Cincinnati Reds and spending time at Town and Country Shopping Center. She will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Howard Joseph Monnin; son, Steve (Jackie) Monnin; daughter, Pam (Alvin) Franck; grandchildren, Sarah and Elena Monnin, Laura Weis and Christopher Franck; great grandchildren, Lorelei and Dalton Clifford; and by two sisters, Pam and Carol from Kentucky. Per Marie’s request a private interment has been held at David’s Cemetery.
