Carey, Marjorie J., left her mortal life on July 27, 2016 to join her dearly departed husband, William A. Carey, on what would have been their 64th wedding anniversary. Born July 22, 1930 on a Holstein farm in Champaign County, OH, Marge received her RN degree from Miami Valley Hospital School of Nursing in 1951, married the love of her life in 1952, and settled in Springboro, OH. Her work history outside the home included Miami Valley Hospital, Middletown Internal Medicine, and Clinton Memorial in Wilmington, OH. Always civically minded, Marge volunteered for her United Methodist Women's Group, the Springboro Fire Department Women's Auxiliary, to name a few; she was a school nurse, on the Springboro School Board, a US census taker, a poll worker, and never knew how to say "no" if someone needed help. Marge will forever be remembered for her kind and loving spirit. She leaves behind a loving family who will miss her dearly: daughters Lisa (Greg) Trefz, Jennifer (Roger) Cundiff; grandchildren Jessica Lalich, Leah Trefz (Brad) Rittenhouse, Danielle Guntle, Adam Trefz; great-grandchildren Toby and Peter Lalich; Sisters Laura (Rod) McElfresh, Sharyn Edelen. Marge passed from complications caused by Alzheimer's. We ask for your prayers or donations towards a cure to the Alzheimer's Association. A special thanks to Marge's caregivers at Bethany Lutheran Village and Hospice of Dayton. No services; a private ceremony with internment will be held at a later date at Bellbrook Cemetery
