Joey was born on September 20, 1985 in Xenia, Ohio and passed away doing the thing he loved the most on March 19, 2026.
Joey is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 20+ years Casi Hardin and his 3 children, son Austin Hardin, son Presley Hardin, and daughter London Hardin. He is also survived by his brother Dustin (Laura) Griffieth of Troy, OH, sister Crystal (Charles) Buckler of Springfield, MO, and sister Destiny Smith of Yellow Springs, OH. He is also survived by his nephews Dalton, Andrew, Parker, Miles, Jude, Gus and nieces Julia, Layla, and Parker, along with many other family members. Joey was preceded in death by his mother Denise Hardin and grandmother Wanda Hardin.
Joey spent his life working in construction. As much as he loved that his ultimate love was two wheels. He spent his early years on BMX bikes which quickly turned into dirtbikes when he got older. Joey really found his true two wheel passion later in life by riding Harley Davidson motorcycles. Not only did he love the bikes he also loved the community/brotherhood that riding brought into his life.
Beyond motorcycles Joey also loved to live life to the fullest. He was always down to do anything and everything. Joey LOVED meeting new people and experiencing new things. He would help anyone with anything as well. Joey had such a big heart within that tough outer shell.
If you knew Joey you knew that the one thing he couldn’t live without was his wife Casi. He loved her beyond words and if you gave him the chance he would tell you. He was proud to have her as not only his wife but his best friend. They did absolutely everything together.
Not only was Joey an amazing person when he was with us but he was an organ donor as well. Because of that choice so many people have been helped from his tragedy.
The family will be having a memorial service at Warped Wing (26 Wyandot St. Dayton, OH 45402) on Sunday March 29th, 2026 from 11-3pm. This will be a time to reminisce, honor, and celebrate Joey’s amazing life.
