

Mark Allen Ketzel, of Germantown, Ohio, passed away Sunday, April 18, 2021. Mark was born January 5, 1957, to Donald Emerson Ketzel and Betty Marie Ketzel (Gray), in Dayton, Ohio. He lived his early life in Kettering and graduated from Fairmont West, Class of 1974. He owned Ketzel Roofing for many years and lived his later years in Germantown. He retired his roofing business to begin his new adventure of Twin Creek Kayak and Livery. He so loved his new life and always said he could smile again. Mark was a master craftsman and worked with copper to build cupolas, lanterns, and other knick-knacks. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and loved the outdoors. Mark is survived by his son, Mark Anthony Ketzel and significant other, Jessica Brown; his sister Diane Ketzel Hoellerman and brother-in-law, Charles Hoellerman; his grandson, Cody Ketzel of Richmond, Indiana; and many cousins and nieces. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, and brother, Larry Carroll Ketzel. Mark will be missed by many friends too numerous to name, but especially his High School buddy, Matt Monnier; his good friends Kathy Supinger, Kile and Shelly Genslinger, and Mick and Sheila Reveal.
