Mary Audrey Robertson

Mary A. Robertson, 86, of Washington Township, formerly of Acton, MA, passed away peacefully early Friday morning, October 6, 2023 after a lengthy battle with cancer. She is preceded in death by her husband Donald and is survived by her children Donald, Douglas, & Angela, and son-in-law Doug. She has four grandchildren whom she loved and cherished, Evelyn, Neil, Avery, & Craig; a great-grandson Eli, that she loved and adored; and her cousin Carol. She has an extensive family from around the Boston, MA area, whom her nephews Peter & David, and her nieces Holly & Carolyn, she loved with warmth and fondness.

She was raised by her Armenian grandparents in Watertown, MA. Widowed as a young mother, she raised three children, and bravely overcame many hardships. After retiring from a career in Federal Civil Service, she relocated to the Dayton area in 2006.

Throughout her life she traveled far and wide, was active in her community serving on the board of her condo association, local NARFE chapter, and always engaged in activities whether it was spending time with friends or taking classes. She was an avid reader, cook, gardener, and lovingly devoted to her family and friends. She will be greatly missed and remembered for her resilience, pragmatism, and generosity toward others.
