MEADE, Mildred, age 100 of Dayton passed away Sunday, June 5, 2016. Mildred was born on January 3, 1916 in River Kentucky, Johnson County to the late Burn and Mary Jane Ward Daniel. She married James K. Meade in 1934, who preceded her in death on February 23, 1982. She was also preceded in death by her son, James H. Meade; a sister, Minnie Fairchild; and two brothers, Herschel and Willard Daniel. She is survived by her daughter, Marcella J. (Edward) White; six grandchildren, David (Kathey), Michael (Jan), Shellie (John) Sweeterman, Doug (Teri), Scott, and Mark (Patty) Meade; 12 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Mildred was a member of Tom’s Creek United Baptist Church in Tutor Key, Kentucky.
