Norma Jane Presley

Presley, Norma Jane went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 7, 2013. She was born May 29, 1933 in Bedford, KY. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 years, Sherman (Red) Presley, her father and mother, Jesse James May and Nellie McDowell May, four brothers, LG, Otis, JW and Cecil and three sisters, Mary Ruth, Dolly Rose, Dana Nell. She is survived by her son, Tom Presley (Dee); her daughter, Marion Presley-Blevins (James); her five grandchildren, Charlene (Jason), James, Jr., William (Kristen), Jason (Staci) and Brent; her great grandchildren, Shawn-Leigh, Jarrod, Cassaundra, Catlyin, Isaac, Ethan, Billy, Meagan, Gabriel, Elijah and Hannah. She is also survived by sisters, Martha, Esther, Mildred and Mickie; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Our family would like to thank the staff and residents at Franklin Ridge Nursing Home and the outstanding team from The Hospice of Dayton. We appreciate the excellant care our precious Mother received and all of the love and support we needed. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 10, 2013, from 5-9 p.m. for friends and loved ones at the Spaulding Road Church of God, 1658 Spaulding Road, where she attended for over 30 years. Funeral services will be held at the church at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 11, 2013, with Reverend Larry Thomas and Reverend Lonnie Mitchell officiating. Burial will be at Medway Cemetery in Medway, OH with James Blevins, Jr., William Blevins, Sr., Jason Presley, Brent Presley, Jarrod Henry and Jason Gillum acting as pallbearers.
