Norsa A Peyton

Age 85, of Dayton, Ohio; died Sunday, September 25, 2011 at The Hospice of Dayton. Norsa was born in Greenup, Kentucky on July 19, 1926 to Edward and Norma Reed who preceded her in death. Her husband, William A. Peyton preceded her in death in 1995. Norsa is survived by her son, William V. Peyton and daughter-in-law Linda A. Peyton of Dayton; grandson, Jonathan S. Peyton, Dayton; sisters, Louise Gordon and Juanita Carr of Greenup, Kentucky, Mary Lewis of Lancaster, Ohio; brothers, Lewis Reed of Sebring, Florida and Jack Reed of South Shore, Kentucky; and twelve nieces and nine nephews. Norsa retired in 1988 after twenty-three years of service as a cook in the New Carlisle-Bethel school district. She was a founding member of the United Brethren in Christ Church in Park Layne and was very active in the church for many years. She was a very caring and giving person always thinking of others before herself. She will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 29, 2011until the time of service. Funeral services are at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 29, 2011 at Tobias Funeral Home – Far Hills Chapel, 5471 Far Hills Avenue at Rahn Road, Dayton, Ohio 45429.
