

PRESSLER, Onabel Roberts, Mink age 97, of Centerville, OH. And long time resident of Cape Coral, FL, born January 26, 1919 in Sample, KY., passed away peacefully on her birthday January 26, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents Wilbur and Permelia Roberts, her sister Leona Astor, her first husband Edward Allen Mink in 1963 and second husband Charles A. Pressler in 2006. Survived by her daughters Jo A.(Douglas Cook), Marla J.(Robert Berger), Judith E.(David Hughes), Darlene E.(Robert Miller). 12 grandchildren Teresa Giannone, Julie Grawe, Douglas Berger, Andrea Dieckman, Christopher Berger, Melinda Nyhan, Ryan Hughes, Jason Hughes, Laura Glaser, Lisa Hyatt, Lynne Peterson, Angela Via, 22 great-grandchildren Bryan Diaz, Monica Greene, Marlina Perkins, Chelsie Boehmer, Jordan Grawe, Brooke Berger, Lindsay Berger, Patrick Dieckman, Eric Dieckman, Kurtis Dieckman, Grace Nyhan, Isabelle Nyhan, Ethan Hughes, Samuel Hughes, Charlotte Hughes, Michael Parker, Matthew Hyatt, Jessica Hyatt, Alexander Main, Ashton Main, Aiden Via, Ava Via, 5 great-great-grandchildren, Raine and Sailor Greene, David Perkins, Ava Boehmer, Damascus Parker, she is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews. Onabel graduated from Roosevelt High School, Dayton, OH in 1937. She had various jobs in Dayton and especially enjoyed working as the Home Lighting Consultant for DP&L Co. She was a life long master bridge player. While living in Florida she worked as an executive secretary for a real estate developer for many years. She was President of Society of Symphony Women’s Fort Myers, FL. She was an avid golfer and bowler. Additionally, Onabel was an author of two published children's books. She was a founding member of Palmetto Pines Country Club in Cape Coral, FL where she enjoyed all the social activities, especially ballroom dancing. She and her husband Charles enjoyed many years of traveling the world with their friends. Onabel had a very strong fashion sense and dearly loved “dressing to the 9’s” and celebrating occasions with her friends and family! Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2016 from 10:00 AM to 11:00AM at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-Far Hills Chapel; where memorial service will be held 11:00AM with Rev. Jim Riggs from Normandy United Methodist Church officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Woodland Cemetery.
