Peter Gniazdowski, age 74, of Dayton, Ohio passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2023. Peter was born in Jersey City, New Jersey on June 17, 1948 to parents Chester and Mary (Korosec) Gniazdowski who preceded him in death in addition to his wife Barbara.
Peter is survived by his children, Aaron J. Gniazdowski and Michael Gniazdowski; grandchildren, Kelsey Gnaizdowski, Gage Gnaizdowski, Garrett Gnaizdowski, Hunter Gnaizdowski, Ethan Gnaizdowski, Liam Gnaizdowski, Griffin Gnaizdowski and Kyle Howard; great grandchildren, Jace Howard and Easton Howard; brother, Dennis Gnaizdowski.
Peter attended the University of Miami in Florida. Peter served in the United States Army for twenty years including Vietnam and as an Army Green Beret. He then worked for thirty years at AT&T as a lineman before his retirement.
Today, Pete is with the love of his life, Barbara.
tTe family will receive friends and loved ones at the Tobias Funeral Home, 3970 Dayton Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45432 on Thursday, February 2, 2023 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM. The following morning, Friday February 3, 2023 at 11:00 AM, Pete will receive full military honors at Dayton National Cemetery. Anyone wishing to attend is to meet here at the funeral home at 10:00 Am to go in procession.
In Lieu of Flowers, contributions in Peter’s name may be made to the charity of your choice.
