Lloyd, Robert John
On October 8, 2014 God called home an amazing son, husband, father, papaw and Brother. He passed away at home after years of fighting serious health problems. He was 58 years old. Robert was born on December 7, 1955 in Xenia Ohio. He was in the navy and met his wife upon discharge when he was 19. Robert spent every ounce of energy in his last years with a positive attitude and a smile on his face. Nothing was more important to him than his family. He fought every day to be here with his wife and kids. He was the type of person that anyone would want to be around. He always knew how to make you laugh. He worked hard to provide for his family. He enjoyed his work and took pride in what he did. He loved music, playing his guitar, his candy and especially getting together with his family and watching his grandkids play. He had a long road ahead of him after being diagnosed only a month ago with cancer. “God saw that he was in pain and was suffering so he took him home so he could rest. He won’t have to face the things he was so afraid of. We will miss him more than we can explain. Life will never be the same. Our family will never be the same! We love you and will miss you! Until we see you again” - Wife and daughters Proceeded in death by his father William Lloyd, his grandparents, and his granddaughter Abigale Rice, Survived by his mom Anita Smith, his sisters Joni Spencer, Susan Howard and his brother James Lloyd, his cousins nieces and nephews and extended family, his wife Penny Lloyd (as he called her sassy pants) his son Brian Lloyd, his three daughters Melissa Bolden, Christine Dempsey and Renee Rice, his son-in-laws Chris Bolden, Kevin Dempsey, Dan Rice and six grandchildren Christopher Bolden Jr, Andrew Rice, Avery Rice, Aiden Rice, Ava Dempsey and Lucas Dempsey.
