KING, Sherman, age 87 of Miamisburg, passed away at his residence after a lengthy illness, Saturday, April 28, 2018. Sherman was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio to the late Ira and Alice (Hostetler)King. Sherman is a United States Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Alpha Lodge #729 F&AM, a 32* Mason with the Valley of Dayton, and a member of the London Bobbies Unit at Antioch Shrine. Sherman was also the Cub Master of Pack #138 and was instrumental in getting the charter granted for the Spring Valley Pack. He was the owner, and partnered with his son Scott, of King Painter and Sandblasters. Sherman is survived by his son Scott King of Miamisburg, and a brother Fred King of Colorado. Burial will follow in the Woodland Cemetery.
