Age 71, of Bellbrook OH passed away, Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2015. He was born, Jun. 7, 1944, in Albany NY. He retired from the USAF as an F-111 Command Pilot after 21 years of dedicated service. He was preceded in death by a brother, Joel Konieczny, mother Ann Lucille Crinan, and father Stanley J. Konieczny. He is survived by his loving wife Gerri, sisters Sharon Matthey (Roger), Janice Bernath (Andy), Pam Gatto (Matt), Noreen Konieczny (Bill), brother John Konieczny, stepsister Pat Seney, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Manhattan College NYC NY and a Masters of International Studies from Wright State University Beavercreek OH. He worked for SAIC, now Leidos, for 17 years as a PMP certified defense contractor supporting the USAF. Visitation will be 5-7 PM Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2015, at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-FAR HILLS CHAPEL, 5471 Far Hills Ave. at Rahn Rd, Dayton OH 45429 with funeral service at 7 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery NY, 200 Duell Road, Schuylerville NY 12871 on Thursday, Jan. 7, 2016 at 11 AM.
