Sylvia E Schwartz

Schwartz, Sylvia E. (Allen), of Miamisburg, Ohio passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 25, 2020, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Sylvia was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 56 years, Fred in November of 2017, her parents, Reverend B.L. and Ethel (Witt) Allen and seven siblings, Nell, Albert, Avil, Otha, Paul, Howard and Geneva. She is survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Sylvia was a graduate Sue Bennett College in London, Kentucky and is a retired teacher from the Miamisburg City Schools, where she loved teaching and her many students. Sylvia also loved flowers and gardening. She was a member of St. James United Methodist Church in Miamisburg and lived her life by Philippians 4:13~ I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. A Walk Through Social Distancing Visitation with masks required will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2020, at the Tobias Funeral Home- Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road at Grange Hall Road from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Private Family Services will be held. Interment will follow in Miami Valley Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to either The Heartland Hospice or St. James UMC.
