Devoted husband to Phyllis June Sherer, beloved father to Donna and Diane and grandfather to Jacob. He was born in Dayton, Ohio. He met his wife Phyllis while working at McCall’s. They married in 1961 and raised their two daughters in the Dayton area in Trotwood, Ohio.
Terry graduated from John H. Patterson Cooperative High School, Class of 1961. He worked at General Telephone Electric until he retired. Terry fulfilled his dream of living in Fort Myers, Florida when he and Phyllis relocated there in 2002 and lived there for 23 years. He was a protective father and always wanted the best for his daughters. We will greatly miss him. Life will never be the same without his deep love and support.
A small graveside service will take place Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Calvary Cemetery, 1625 Calvary Drive, Dayton, Ohio 45409. Father Dan Meyer officiating.
