Tom was born in El Paso, Texas.
He was a graduate of Fairborn High School and Ohio State University. He earned an undergraduate degree in accounting and later obtained his law degree from Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. Tom worked for Hyatt Legal Services before opening his own private practice in 2003. He was a member of the Ohio State Bar Association.
He was preceded in death by William Cecil Berry (Father) and Jeanne Marian Berry (Mother). He is survived by Nadira Berry (Wife), Ramesh Berry (Son), Maya Berry (Daughter), Jesse Pool (Son-in-law), and many other beloved relatives.
Services will be private and live streamed.
