

Thomas M. Gannon Sr., beloved husband, father and fisherman went to explore the lakes in Heaven on August 27, 2018. He is proceeded in death by his father and mother, Charles and Dorothy Gannon as well as his brother, James D. Gannon.
He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Margaret Gannon. Six children, who he showed unconditional love to and was a excellent role model for: Barbara (Gregg) Luttrull, Angela (Ira) Browning, Maureen (John) Brown, Thomas M. (Ginny) Gannon II, Charles (Janell) Gannon and Andrea Gannon. 12 grandchildren: Emily, Mason, Ashley, Michael, Tiffany, Isaac, Daysun, Rae Ann, Jacob, Gunnar, Deven and Jonah. Three great-grandchildren: Autumn, Levi and Lorelai. As well as his three sisters: Patricia Lewandowski, Juanita Burcham and Kathleen Coffman and one brother, Joseph Gannon.
Tom attended St. Anthony's Catholic School through 8th grade and graduated from Chaminade Catholic High School in 1963. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed the great outdoors. He died doing what he loved... fishing. Tom was loved by all and feared by many fish! He will be sorely missed. Rest in peace.
The family will receive friends from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Tobias Funeral Home - Belmont Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial at 12 Noon on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 830 Bowen Street, Dayton, Ohio 45410.
