

Victor was born in Cincinnati on March 7, 1955, attended Centerville High School, Class of 1973, went on to attend Miami University in Oxford, Class of 1977 with ROTC, and then Cornell University, Industrial and Labor Relations School, Class of 1987. He was a proud Veteran of the US Air Force as a Captain and Executive Support Officer at the F.E. Warren Air Force Base in Cheyenne, Wyoming, 1977-1982. His career in Human Resource spanned 35 years, in which he retired from in 2019 while working for Emerson in Mansfield, OH. He also spent a large portion of his career at Mansfield Plumbing and Leprino Foods.
Victor loved his family and friends more than anything else in life. He enjoyed retirement life on the water at Holiday Lakes, cruising on the pontoon boat and listening to music. He had a lifelong passion for race cars and spent countless hours at the race track with family and friends. Victor was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns and Ohio State University Buckeyes. He watched every game while wearing his team gear and rooting for a victory.
Victor is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mary Troha of Centerville, Ohio. Survived by his wife, Sharon (Tagliaferri) Troha of Willard, Ohio; brother and sister-in-law, Dr. Frank and Gwen Troha; children: Adrienne and Kyle Clement, Dr. Victor and Laura Troha, Katie Troha and fiance, Ryan Paffhausen; grandchildren, Jordan Clement, Audrey Clement, and Lucy Troha; aunt, Aggie Auksunas; cousin, Ron Kline; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Tony and Dr. Jean Papandrea; nieces and nephews, Leigh and Dr. Chad Breznay, Alexis and David Mevoli, Greg and Kati Papandrea; and 7 great nieces and nephews.
A small private family Funeral Service will take place at 11 am on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at Tobias Funeral Home, Far Hills Chapel with a visitation from 10am until the time of service. The Funeral Service will be livestreamed for those unable to attend. Victor will be laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery in Dayton after services on Wednesday.
