MATHIS, Vivian Mae (Garland), age 74 passed away peacefully at the Hospice of Dayton Monday, August 15, 2016. Vivian was born in Pryse, Kentucky to the late Joe and Juanita (McKnight) Garland. She is also preceded in death by her siblings and a grandson Joey Baker. Vivian and her husband Lanny of 26 years were avid travelers visiting all 50 states. They also resided in Satellite Beach, Florida in the mid 1990’s. She was a store manager with the Revco Pharmacy with over 15 years of service. Vivian is survived by their children: Keith (Sally) Baker, Guy Baker, Steve (Toni) Mathis, Terri (Dave) Walters, and Lynda (Mark) Cummings, eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and a sister Mary Lou Lastoskie. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am on Friday, August 19, 2016 at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME – FAR HILLS CHAPEL with funeral service beginning at 11:00 am. Entombment will follow at Miami Valley Memorial Garden Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
