OLIVER, Walter R. Jr. age 74 of Bronston. KY and formerly of Dayton, OH passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2011. He was a Navy and National Guard Veteran, retired from Chrysler Corporation after 35 years of service as a Stationary Engineer, was a member of Vandalia VFW Post and American Legion Post 0668. Walter is survived by his wife, Betty J. Oliver; children, Lisa Pearl and husband, Jim of Dayton, OH, Teresa Baily of Springboro, OH, Mark Oliver and wife Vicki of Niantic, CN, Michael Oliver of Des Moines, IA, and Beth Barrett and husband Jeff of Springboro, OH; stepdaughter, Paula R. Jones of Dayton, OH; grandchildren, Maddox Jones, Cory Oliver, Skyle Oliver, Patric Oliver, Casey Robbins, Quentin Oliver, Cailin Oliver, Ian Bailey, Hunter Barrett, Paige Barrett, Samantha Hitte, and Derrick Oliver; three great grandchildren; and special niece, Lisa Gadd-Guillot. The family will receive friends at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-FAR HILLS CHAPEL, 5471 Far Hills Ave. at Rahn Rd. Saturday, July 16, 2011, from 11 am until time of service at 12 noon.
