Ed was a big personality even though he was so quiet.  Ed was observing, and always made me feel welcomed like family.  May he rest in peace until we meet again one day.

Going to Ed's house meant I would experience what true family love was all about.  if I didn't see children and grandchildren or extended family, I would hear affectionate thoughts or concerns about them.  I looked forward to being with Ed and knowing that he lived what he loved.  He was not only a family man, but he was a family of God man.  When I'd pray with him, he wasn't silent.  Ed joined into the conversation with God.  Ed's love for his loving wife, Lisa, was easy to see.  Together, with each other, was their happy place... always.  Ed took his love for family seriously.  He truly lived out his love by being their example of the hero that he is.  God bless you, Ed.  I'll see you in heaven someday.  But until then, I will miss our times together, our conversations, your prayers, or just being with you in the "silent" conversations.

I was a big fan of Mr Ed Oliver! He reminded me a bit of my own grandpa, and I think that helped us click during my time with him. He loved and was so very loved. He knew how to crack a joke too, that's for sure! My heart goes out to you all in this time, love Hailey.

I met Ed about 8 years ago working as a medical assistant for Dr. Bautistas office.  He always had a smile on his face and made us girls laugh in here.  He will  be greatly missed!  Sending my love and prayers to Lisa and her family during this time!

I’m Sam Osterwisch, someone who came and played music with Ed during this past year. Every time I saw him he shared the importance of his love for his family, and the gratitude he had for having such amazing people in his life. He was a compassionate, wise, witty, and loving man, and he will be greatly missed. I am grateful for the time I spent with him, and feel honored to have had the privilege to get to know him and his family.

My daddy was one of my biggest supporters in my life, no matter what the situation. I will deeply miss your guidance, patience and love. You were always present for us girls and momma. My best memory of ED was Ed had a brand new Peavy T-60 electric guitar and would let me use it when I really couldn’t afford a good guitar like that when I was learning he was always patient,kind and generous with me ,along with Albert and RJ his brothers  because of there inspiration and giving personalities help me become the musician I am today ,thank you Ed you’all are wonderful ❤️

I felt welcomed by Ed and Lisa from the moment I walked through the door. Ed had such an ornery grin and loved his family fiercely. He was proud of his wife, children and grandchildren. He was brave, strong and held on for his family as long as he could. It was a privilege and honor to be part of his care and I will miss my weekly visits in their loving home. I am thankful to have been a part of his beautiful story and journey. God bless you, Oliver family.

I’m so sorry for your loss! Ed will be greatly missed. My favorite memory I had with Ed is when we were at a camp ground and I was about 6 or 7 years. All I wanted to do was ride my bike but I couldn’t get anyone else to go on a bike ride with me and Ed popped up from his lawn chair and we rode around that camp ground talking and making jokes until it started getting dark then we made our way back to the camper ❤️ Ed was always one of a kind.

I am so sorry for your great loss.  Ed was such a kind hearted person he would help you in anyway he could.  I know Jerry thought a lot about Ed also.  ❤️❤️

Ed was a great brother in law.  Lots of good memories over the years.  Enjoy heaven.  We will meet again.

I remember spending time with you all. Ed let us play on the cb radio. I think my nickname was Bubbles. I remember when I was in an abusive relationship and needed a place to hide out you all gave me a safe place for a few hours. I spent a lot of time there in high school. Ed was always the funniest person the way he would rouse up Lisa. I always called him pops. You will be missed Pops! Hope you meet my dad up there. He was a hoot too!

My “buddy” will be deeply missed. Glad I had the chance to know him. Ed was truly a wonderful and kind person and always made me smile. Your “little buddy” will remember you fondly always my friend. Rest easy in paradise. 🩷

I could write a book on how ed impacted my life. All the memories we’ve had and all of our Sunday morning coffees.He could always see the potential in me when I couldn’t see it in myself. I can still hear him say it now bre give that baby to Lisa we are gonna have a talk, I use to dread it because I knew I was getting a lecture. He’d sit me down on that front porch and talk to me for hours. I couldn’t see it as a teenager that he was giving me advice I’d use for the rest of my life. I was one of those stray kids he took in.  He was always like a second dad to me. The kids and I will miss him and he will always have a place in our hearts!

Ed and me have been together ever since I was the age of 13 years old. I don't know what I'll do without him. He was my world. He was a good husband a loving father and grandfather. with god's help.I will learn how to live without him.

My brother Ed was a good family man.  He loved his wife, kids and grandchildren unconditionally! He also loved his brothers and sisters! I pray God gives Lisa and his children and grandchildren peace of mind knowing he is with God and is cancer free!!!! I loved my brother with all my heart! You can rest now Bubba. Give mom, dad, Hack and all our loved ones in Heaven a big hug!  I will see you again one day.
