

Services for Mr. Charles Francis "Cy" Fleming will be held Friday at 2pm at Scooba Presbyterian Church. Rev. Randy Rigdon and Bro. Shane Koehn will be officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Scooba.
Mr. Fleming, 56, of Scooba passed away at his residence on December 25. Known as "Cy" to his family and friends, he was born in Kemper County and a lifetime resident of Scooba. He graduated from Kemper Academy and attended East Mississippi Community College. He was a lifetime cattleman and a member and deacon of Scooba Presbyterian Church. Mr. Flemming was a Farm Service Agency Committee member for many years and a loyal New Orleans Saints fan. He was a friend to many who loved children and they returned their love to him.
He is survived by two sisters, Jane "Tookie" Boyd and her husband David of Sandhill, Wendy Wade and husband Robert of Scooba; brothers, Mose Fleming and wife Ann of Scooba, Chuck Fleming of Scooba, Rusty "Banker" Fleming of Geiger, AL and Jimmy Fleming of Scooba. He is also survived by a niece, Misty Loden and seven nephews, Matthew Boyd, Philip Boyd, Andy Boyd, Judah Fleming, Mark Fleming, Daniel Wade and Adam Wade, a host of great nieces and nephews , three aunts, numerous cousins; and his New Orleans Saints friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mildred and Carlton Fleming. Special friends, Randy Barnes Family, Scott Sanders, Terri Lynne and Paul Howard, Carlie Knox and Lisa White
Pallbearers will be his nephews. Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Mosely, Terry Cherry, James"Bozo" Arabie and Jonathan Brown.
Visitation will be held from 5pm to 8pm at Stephens Funeral Home of DeKalb and one hour prior to the service at Scooba Presbyterian Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Scooba Presbyterian Church, Cedar Lawn Cemetery, Inc or Palmer Home for Children.
