Funeral service for Bobbie Jean Light Jett, 75, of Decatur will be Sunday, July 13, 2014, at 3 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Doug Ripley and Benny Sivley officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Jett, who died July 10, 2014, at her residence was born July 19, 1938, in Alabama. She was preceded in death by her son, Hoyt Lee Jett Jr.; grandson, Alexander Trey Barrett; two brothers, Charles Light, Osbie Light Jr.; two sisters, Helen Roan Royer and Dorothy Reed.
Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Hoyt Lee Jett Sr.; daughter, Kimberly Jean Barrett of Decatur; two grandchildren, Kyrstin Lee Barrett and Logan Wesley Barrett.
Pallbearers will be nephews.
