Bobbie Jo Sharpley Smith departed this life on June 8, 2023. She was a very dedicated, loving mother and grandmother of great faith. Her outlook on life was always positive and she encouraged everyone around her to do the same. She enjoyed many hobbies such as gardening, cooking, and her love of quilting.
Over the years she made quilts for all her children. I didn’t stop there; each grandchild received their own love made quilt. She had the skills to turn those small scraps of cloth into masterpieces to be cherished forever while keeping us warm.
She leaves to cherish those beautiful memories, her children Cedric Boulden (Rubye), Charlotte Humphrey (Allen) and Holland Carrillo. Two children preceded her in death Magritta Laraye Boulden and Vonda Ockers (Ben Ockers). Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her joy.
Anyone that knew her would feel the ‘Love of God’ that she possessed. It was like a bubble that surrounded her and everyone that entered it would be blessed by knowing her. We will always love her and miss her until we reunite in God’s Kingdom.
