Mr. Webb, who died Sunday, February 19, 2012, at Decatur Health and Rehab, was born February 1, 1921, in Athens to James Porter Webb and Sarah Blackburn Webb. He retired from Fruehauf. He was a member of Austinville Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lee Webb; seven brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include three daughters, Barbara Hughes of Portland, Ore., Karen Truitt and Sharon Summersett, both of Decatur; brother, Paul Webb of Toney; two sisters, Margaret Butler and Jeanette Stinnett, both of Athens; seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be George Truitt, Dennis Truitt, Steve Summersett, Brian Eickholt and Joe Ivey.
Honorary pallbearer will be Sean Summersett.
