Mr. Gonzalez, who died Thursday, September 9, 2010, in Tullahoma,
Tenn. was born February 21, 1965, in Long Island, N.Y. to Octavio M. Gonzalez and Joan H. Gonzalez. He was a chemical operator for 22 years at 3M, a founding member of Motorcycle Family Club, military veteran for E Company 2nd Battalion 505th Brigade 82nd Airborne Division, and enjoyed being with his grandbaby Anna. He is preceded in death by son, Sean Andrew Stokes; grandfather, Octavio Gonzalez Sr.; grandfather, George Rieger and grandmother, Helen Rieger.
Survivors include fiancee, Christy Hudson of Beech Grove, Tenn.; daughter, Lora Elizabeth Lawrence and husband, Tyler Lawrence, of Decatur; parents, Joan H. and Octavio M. Gonzalez of Decatur; brothers, Brett T. Gonzalez and wife, Christiane, of Danville, Scott E. Heffren and wife, Cheryl, Greg H. Heffren, Dean M. Heffren and wife Ennia, all of Florida; nieces and nephews; grandmother, Ana Gonzales of Murfreesboro, Tenn., and granddaughter Anna Elizabeth Lawrence of Decatur.
