Elizabeth “Liz” Johnson Mizell passed away Sunday, November 8, 2015 at the age of 53. Liz is preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Lonie Bell Johnson. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Mark Mizell, Sr.; daughter, Emma McGee Mizell; step-son, Mark (Suzanne) Mizell, Jr.; brothers and sisters, Floyd Johnson, Jr., Lynn (Pete) Christofferson, Susan Johnson, Carolyn (Don) Miller, Marie (Windell) Allen, James Ira (Marion) Carr and Maxine (James) Guyse and grandchildren, Eason and Coleman Mizell.
A Celebration of Life will be Friday, November 13, 2015 at 1:00pm at Roselawn Funeral Home with Bro. Doug Moody officiating. A time of gathering with the family will begin Friday at 11:00am at the funeral home. Burial will be at East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. Pallberers will be Blake Bollinger, Ben Burks, Lee Carver, Sam Cockrell, Garrett Mizell, Adam Dunlap and Will Brown.
