Mrs. Nichols was a retired mortician and former owner of Nichols Funeral Home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.R. “Red” Nichols; son, Gene Morgan; sister, Vela Tucker Jones; and her parents, Edd and Thelma Carpenter and Harvey and Elizabeth Long.
Survivors include her grandchildren, Chris Morgan ( Libby ) and Ruth Ann Morgan ( Chris McAbee ); great-grandchildren, Jenni Lynn Terry, Karley King, Scarlette McAbee and Elijah McAbee.
A Celebration of Life will be Monday, August 13, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Roselawn Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Fuller officiating.
Burial will follow in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Monday, August 13, 2018 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.
