

Funeral for Frank T. Wright, 85, of Decatur will be Thursday, October 4, 2012, at 1`1 a.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Jackie Kay officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mr. Wright, who died Monday, October 1, 2012, at home, was born July 27, 1927, in Calhoun, Tenn., to Paul Henry Wright and Mabel Lipps Wright. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was retired from Redstone Arsenal. He was a member of Central Park Baptist Church and a member of Civil Air Patrol. Mr. Wright loved golf, flying, fishing and working on cars and airplanes. Once he retired, you could find him on the golf course, out fishing or working on cars and planes. He dearly loved his wife and his three daughters. He was a wonderful provider and protector of his family. Always trying to take care of everyone. He was preceded in death by his parents and seven brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mary Alice Mothershead Wright; three daughters, Linda Wright Frawley (John), Wanda Wright Nenner (Paul) and Paula Wright Lea (Bruce); three grandchildren, Jenny Faulk, Derek Long and Brent Lea; and three great-grandchildren, Becca and Logan Faulk and Nina Long.
Pallbearers will be Derek Long, Brent Lea, Andy Faulk, Bruce Lea, John Frawley, Paul Nenner, Wayne Wright and K. Mothershead.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bob Harpe and Bull Terry.
