Gary Wayne Morgan Sr.

Gary Wayne Morgan, Sr.,72, of Decatur, passed away on Friday, January 6th, 2023. His visitation will be on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Roselawn Funeral Home. His Celebration of Life will be officiated by the Masonic Lodge and will begin at 1:30 PM in the chapel of the funeral home. Entombment will follow in Roselawn Cemetery Mausoleum.

Gary Morgan is survived by his son, Benard Foster (Pat); daughter; Gina Richardson (Lance); grandchildren; Michaela Foster, Hunter Foster, Ben Richardson (Kristen) and Tabitha Hardwick (Joe); great grandchildren, Hazel and Harrison Hardwick; sister, Linda Cheek (George); nephews, Morgan Cheek and Michael Handley and niece, Michelle Handley.

He is preceded in death by his son, Alden Ray Foster; wife, Barbara Ann Morgan; sister, Carolyn Handley and brother in law, Eddie Handley.

Serving as pallbearers will be Andy Lasch, Morgan Cheek, Ben Richardson, Joe Hardwick, Taco Yancy and Neil McAnally.

Honorary pallbearer will be Scott Lagrone.

Gary was an avid Cahaba Shrine Road Runner.
