Gerald Wayne Russell

Gerald went to be with the Lord on Sunday April 2, 2017 after a long battle with cancer. Gerald was born January 3, 1965. Gerald was a devoted husband, father and friend who loved to make others laugh with his witty humor and funny hats. He enjoyed the great outdoors and enjoyed camping and fishing as well as TENNESSEE FOOTBALL and NASCAR. He was a member of Tunsel Road Baptist Church, a Master Mason and a member of the Rising Sun Lodge #29.

Most of all he was proud to be a Christian.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Russell, son, Thomas Russell(Whitney), step-son, Michael(Shayla) Wright, brothers and sisters: Jim Clark (Mary Anne), Patrick Russell(Denise), Renea Clark Powell (Milton), Paula Thompson(Bill), Tammy Schrimsher(Mark), Robert Russell and Johnny Russell. Step-mother Joyce Russell, mother Katherine Staggs and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and preceded in death by his father Ralph Russell.

Gerald’s saying was, “God IS GOOD ALL THE TIME AND ALL THE TIME GOD IS GOOD.”
