A celebration of life will be held at Roselawn Funeral home on Thursday, December 27 at 2:00. Dr. Allan Lowman will be officiating. Family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service.
Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Thompson is survived by her children, Judy Borden (Wayne), Ricky Thompson (Linda), Mickey Thompson (April), Pam Kelley (Jerry), 9 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Burl and Mattie Lou Braswell, her husband of 58 years, JW Thompson, a daughter, Kimberly Jan Thompson, 5 sisters and 2 brothers.
Mrs. Thompson was born May 11, 1925. She retired from Prestolite in 1987, but her greatest accomplishment was being a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
Roselawn Funeral Home is assisting the family.
