Funeral for Jesse W. "Bill" Holtzclaw, 87, of Decatur will be Friday, December 23, 2011, at 1 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Barry Sempsrott officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Holtzclaw, who died Wednesday, December 21, 2011, at his residence, was born January 12, 1924, in Stevenson to Picket and Mary Holtzclaw. He retired as a TV repairman from Bill's TV service. He was preceded in death by one brother, Henry Holtzclaw; and two sisters, Lucille Overall and Leona Hart Nelson.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Bertha Holtzclaw; two sons, Jerry "Pete" Holtzclaw (BeBe) and Rickey E. Holtzclaw (Marsha), both of Decatur; one daughter, Connie H. Clark of Moulton; one sister, Eva Beason of Decatur; six grandchildren, Ian Holtzclaw, Kasey Rodrigeuz, Brent Clark, Matt Clark, Adam Clark and Evan Clark; and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
