    I got this tattoo as a tribute to Josh.a friendship I treasure dearly.having known him.a friendship that started with a helmet.that he drove all the way from Decatur to section Alabama.
  To hand me personally at no cost.he just gave it to me.he even covered a song I requested.
  Genuinely a really real good dude.

Josh was a Way Cool Dude. Much Love to Ashley & the Harris family!!!

Josh was a very special soul. I don’t trust easily, but he nevertheless became one of my best friends in less than two years’ time.  We were band buddies (he made this awesome emblem for my amp), but also so much more. He opened up to me about his pain, which I consider very sacred. He helped me feel less alone with my own wounds. 

He loved everyone he met, all while struggling deeply to love himself. I miss him so much, because I loved him.

My very deepest condolences Ashlee and family. Josh was speaking to you all when he said in a song; I see myself in you.  I pray that you hold many beautiful memories and the best of Josh will continue to live in you. It's ok to cry, and it's a scientifically proven factoid that it does help. As it is we feel helpless and so far away. If there is any possible way to be helpful, will you please let us know. Talking is especially easy!
Is it ok to do some poetry?
I been looking back, at the road I've traveled on. You walked with my awhile, I think of you and smile. I'll remember you, and those things we used to do. It helps alot to know that you're thinking of me too... I have some memories, and those dreams you left behind. Again the sun will shine, and we'll meet again some time. Yeah I'll remember you and those things we used to do. It helps alot to know that you're thinking of me too.

My heart hurts so bad and haven’t stopped crying since I heard of Josh’s passing. There are no words but I do know heaven is rejoicing while earth sorrows. Josh was one of a kind. Ashlee, my husband Steve aka Rainfield and I were supposed to come to Bama this summer on a road trip to meet all of your beautiful, talented, funny, and obnoxious family! We would fit right in Josh said. Rain Field and I Suzapalooza aka Susan are here for you all! We love you all and will miss Josh terribly! 🙏🙏🙏

I was gutted when I heard of Josh's sudden passing. My deepest sympathies to his family and friends, especially Ashley and Ava. I was looking forward to meeting Josh and the family in person, and am crushed that is now not possible.

He was an obviously beloved father, and I had huge respect for him as a musician and a human. I will miss him mightily.
