She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas F. Hunter, Sr.; mother, Joy C. Hunter; sister, Regina Ann Ferguson and nephew, Clark Hunter Dillard.
She is survived by brother, Thomas F. Hunter, Jr. and nephew, John Tilden Dillard, III.
Katrina graduated from Austin High School in 1967 and attended University Of Montevallo for two years. She was a sales representative for Sears in Decatur, AL; then Department Manager for the Camera Department at the University Of Texas Bookstore in Austin, TX. For several years upon returning to Decatur, she worked as an accounting executive for Dixie Transportation in Tanner, AL.
For the last 4 ½ years Katrina has been a resident of NHC (National Health Center) Moulton, AL and recently under the care of North Alabama Hospice until her death.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 24, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Church at Stone River with a celebration of life following at 2:00 PM with Jackie Kay and Ted Amey officiating. She will be laid to rest at Roselawn Cemetery.
