Larry was born October 6, 1970, in Quantico, Virginia. He fought a tough battle with brain cancer that ended his earthly life on August 9, 2014.
He is survived by his wife, Brandy; a son, Truitt; his parents, Larry O. VanMeter and Norma Karen Higgs (Kay Rousseau); stepmother, Anna VanMeter; and sister Karen Robinson along with many family and friends.
Larry worked with Turner Insurance and Bonding Company and was a member of the Decatur Lions Club where he received the Melvyn Jones Fellow Award.
Pallbearers will be Brant Watts, Rob Senn, Tony Looney, Greg Creighton, Greg Parker, Jay Hille, Richard Thompson and Blain Watts.
