Linda Chadick Long

Linda Therese Chadick Long, 76, of Decatur, Alabama passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Saturday, April 26, 2025. Visitation will be on Thursday May 1 from 12-2 PM, with A Celebration of Life service to follow at 2:00 PM at Roselawn Funeral home. She will be laid to rest at Johnson Chapel Cemetery.

Linda is survived by her husband Jerry Long, daughters Jamie Long (Brandon Jackson), Jessica Sautter (Rich Sautter) and grandchildren Serena Sharpley, Bentley, and Savannah Sautter.

She is preceded in death by her son Eagle Scout Jeremy Chad Long, and her parents William E. Chadick Jr, and Therese Gagnon Chadick. For those wishing to express their sympathies with flower arrangements have been made with McBride’s florist.
